    Rachel Worthington, CTC, M.Ed.

Rachel began working with dogs in 2007.  She studied dog training and behavior at the Academy for Dog Trainers, one of the most highly regarded and academically rigorous schools in the dog training industry, where she earned her CTC.  Rachel is a force-free dog trainer and believes in using only humane methods that are grounded in scientific research.  She also holds a Master's Degree in Education and has been a middle school teacher in the Los Angeles area since 2007.  She has spent many years working with both at risk youth and shelter dogs, and in combining the two, was able to find her true passion.  Rachel's love for dogs and her love for teaching fuse together perfectly in her work as a dog trainer.  She continuously draws on her expertise in both areas when working with clients and their dogs.  Her mission is to help keep as many dogs as possible in loving homes, and out of shelters, while educating dog owners with legitimate science based information that will help them to better understand their dog's needs.
